Sarah Palin's new Gig

You saw it here on this blog site first! Sarah Palin is a FOx News Contributor, next, she'll be an Anchor next to Sean Hannity. After a few succesfull years, she'll quit early and run for public office, AGAIN. It figures that a person like Sarah Palin would get a gig at Fox News. It just goes to show that Fox has no morals. They'll hire quitters, Convicted Treasonous Felons, and anyone that will spew the Right-Wing Doctoral Message which sounds like: "We truly hate America's Values."
============================================================
In March 1988, GRAND JURY indictments were brought against North, Poindexter, Richard V. Secord, and Albert Hakim. The indictments included four distinct charges: conspiring to obstruct the U.S. government; diverting public funds from arms sales to Iran to aid the Contras in Nicaragua; stealing public funds for private ends; and lying to Congress and other government officials. With the exception of the routine criminal charge of theft, the most serious points in the indictments essentially accused the defendants of conducting a private foreign policy in violation of constitutional norms.

Here ya go! This is the news story....http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2010/01/sarah-palin-to-fox-news-a-step-away-from-2012.html?nwltr=politics_featureHed

President Obama's Weekly Radio Address

Thursday, December 24, 2009

The GOP without a cause.

The GOP famously put a black man in charge of their party just after they realized that Barack Obama was the next U.S. President. That occurred in January 2009 when the Republican party began to realize that it needed to appear less racist. Through a year-long campaign rants and shouts at Sarah Palin campaign speeches turned into lunatic-fringe hate-fests with comments like, "Kill him!" Of course the very same groups of anti-black protesters brought the ire and scrutiny of national and international media prompting the GOP to review its own policies and public perceptions.

Naturally, the first tactic was to blame, using their game-winning strategy for 30 years, what they deem the 'Liberal media' hearkening back to the days of President Nixon and Chief of Staff Dick Cheney. When that failed to launch with the American public, who were more interested in a failed series of wars, a failed economy and a treasonous group of fraudsters who pillaged the economy for 8 years under the Bush Administration, the GOP finally turned to racial re-alignment. The Uncle Tom syndrome began to ring and echo throughout the political halls of America and almost instantly,Michael Steele was considered nothing more than a weak pawn in a greater image game by most of America.

Now that 2009 has been a complete disaster for the Republican party and conservatives in general, they are grasping for the last peanuts left in the bag. The peanuts I am describing are usually the small ones that are burnt when you find yourself in the 8th inning of a baseball game wondering how you're going to recover being 8 runs down and on your 3rd string players. It seems as though the Republicans want to kill American values and replace them with things like:
1) corporate facism
2) destruction of the environment
3) discontinued funding for parks and recreation (and here )

Finally why would anyone leave out the health care? In 2010, this strategy has become the mantra of the GOP. I guess I should presume that since the Republicans have not put forth a single bill, nor have they used their expansive conservative radio shows and conservative churches as mega-phones for advancing their agenda as they did in past elections, that Republicans have no idea what they stand for regarding health care. I am further left to presume that the only idea the Republican party has centers around having no health care in America, for anyone. It is completely overwhelming and a stupendous challenge to find more than 2 Republicans that can put any thought or clarity into a health care bill. Not one has mentioned any specter of what a plan should include. In fact, all Americans ever hear, whether by Fox News, Rush Limbaugh or Michael Steele, is trashing and bashing of ideas that have been put forth by the Democratic party, accusations of communism, socialism and various aspersions cast.

Normally, in psychology, this behavior is characterized as cognitive bias. Cognitive bias is a technique used in demagoguery whereby the caster of the aspersion seeks to promote propaganda in an effective fear campaign. This is why, when the name callers seek to promote socialism and attach fears of communism to the current President, one should naturally assume automatically, that these individuals are themselves covering their own tracks. Again, psychology has a term for these individuals, projection. Once such example of this behavior pattern is Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin exhibits both qualities of cognitive bias as well as projection.

When will the GOP learn that they have no cause? As many have asserted, the GOP is clearly the party of NO.

Is Media in the US so biased against LGBT, that Equal Rights are suffering?

Consider for a moment, a country with less access to the internet than the United States, a large Catholic influence in one of the largest cities in the world, a lack of media that is focused on real issues, but more on entertainment and gang-related issues. This country succeeds, in the midst of fighting one of the largest drug-wars in the world inside its very own borders, in passing Equal Rights for LGBT citizens.

Does the media and the internet wrongly influence the people of the United States? If one takes a look at other countries that have less access to chain e-mails describing the death and destruction that will become their home should Equal Rights Marriage amendments pass, a person might be less jaded towards the world. In fact, the news in other countries outside the US tend to be more succinct, not 24 hours long and rarely controlled by large conglomerate news owners, such as NewsCorp. Many people in foreign countries can not read, and therefore can only translate what they have been told vocally into reality. This makes me wonder if that creates an ounce of skepticism by the receiver of news whereby the question is consistently asked: " Can I trust what I've just been told?"

In the United States, we have the most vocal and visual media in the world, outside of Communist China. Indeed, in Communist China, the media has complete control over the minds, ears and visual references of the state controlled media outlets. This begs the question: If you can control a country as large as Communist China, a country with relatively few media options by scouring the entire country in a way that develops severe myopathy, might you indeed do the same to the US through multiple sources?

My first emphasis, when thinking about the reasons for Mexico's stunning Equal Rights marriage bill passing, was that it must have had something to do with education. First, only Mexico's relatively middle and upper-class citizens have access to the best education. The rest of the country has fewer educational resources and the literacy rate in Mexico is lower than the US by 7%. Interestingly, the Chinese population also has a 90% literacy rate. Under normal circumstances, one might think that this leads to a population less inclined to accept differences in race, sexuality, religion and culture. This, of course, is what is regularly vocalized to the American people via such public radio shows as Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage, and it seems to work.

Mexico and most other 1st and 2nd world countries seem to be saying to the people of their country, " Treat LGBT people equally." These countries also seem to provide health care for their citizens and concern themselves less with international wars and tribulations. Rather, these countries are more focused on caring for their neighbors, their neighboring countries, and the environmental impacts they are having with respect to their personal lives. On the other hand, a large population of US citizens want nothing to do with this type of behavior.

What happened in the U.S.? How was it able to lead in manufacturing, technology, entertainment and religious freedom, only to be outdone by itself, regress instead of progress, and become the world's example of what not to do when it comes to civil rights and civil health care?

  • The Times has posted an excerpt from Richard Hammond's new bookOr Is That Just Me? In this piece, the Top Gear co-host reveals what it was like to be chased by several angry, gun-wielding Alabamans.During a stunt done with the express purpose of pissing off as many backwoods homophobes as possible, Hammond drove a car with the words "Man love rules OK" scrawled on the side of it through the highways of Alabama. He barely escaped with his life: "I didn't want to wake up tied to a tree, being invited to squeal like a little piggy for the entertainment of a 20-year-old psychopath in giant dun ga rees, with three teeth in his head and a bitter hatred of anyone who wasn't also a 30-stone homophobic racist who shot at things he didn't understand."

  • Glenn Beck, the Fox News commentator who once called President Obama a "racist," has come out as a fan of the British band Muse.Muse, in turn, has asked Beck to retract his statement in an audio interview.

The Conservative Media will ignore this story:

The Republicans were responsible for losing the war in Afghanistan and for not capturing Osama Bin Laden in Tora Bora.

Of course we knew that, because Geraldo Rivera told us that. Just in case you forgot the story, CNN is now reporting what happened.

Republicans win: 2009..Reform Obama?

So you've read the headline and you don't understand.

GOOD! You now understand what it's like to be a part of the Fox News audience, and most recently, the CNN audience.

Are you being told, by every pundit in America that the Republican win means voters don't like Obama and his presidency? Are you being told that the fact that the economy is so bad is a result of Obama's economic plan? Are you being told that Americans are rejecting health care and therefore, rejecting Obama? Do you believe what you are reading or being told?

You shouldn't.

Let's start with the Governor's race in Virginia. The democrat, Deeds, running for this office stood an an ANTI-HEALTH CARE agenda. However, the GOP candidate, McDonnell only said that he would explore the idea of opting out if the health care agenda passed. This could mean, VA voters outright rejected the Democratic candidate who stated she would not even consider health care as an option for VA state voters. http://www.roanoke.com/politics/wb/223276

Further, the New Jersey race is even more confusing to voters who don't understand the dynamics of what is going on in that state. Here are the facts: Gov. Corzine has been involved in scandals including everything from being involved in a high-speed crash during a motorcade, to being accused of corruption and even having had a close friend and employee arrested and performing the perp-walk on camera.

In New York, a good ole' fashioned money binge bought off the election process for Mayor of New York City, and frankly, I am not sure of anyone who is dissatisfied with the person. Clearly, Bloomberg ran as a Democrat before he was a Republican, so to say that he has much of a party affiliation at all, would be stretching the truth too far past its tolerance level.

This idea, that the national news media supposes, says the Republicans are winning is lost on most people that follow races that have been purported to be important and " referendum" oriented against Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, and the Democratic ideal. My feeling is, and I want you to pay close attention here, Republicans are being led to believe they have a lot of influence and power going into 2010 and beyond. Further, they are being whoo-doo'd into believing that they will bring back the Republicans to power in 2012.

False.

The news media isn't liberal and they are in the Republicans back pockets, as you can see from the hundreds and pundits spread across TV tonight- Republicans are only winning because the Democrats are trouble makers and not of the ideal that Democratic voters want to support. I believe the warning shot is now: If you are against health care options and if you are not a serious Democrat, we will vote for the Republican who most resembles our values.

Warning to Democrats: You're not going to win us over by simply being more Republican. You'll lose your race and you'll lose your base.

I had to post this ending clip of Clinton on The Daily Show, because it is still dumbfounding, that the only real news that happens these days, much like in the days of Kings and Lords, is found using a character that resembles a court jester more than a real news anchor.
